Ready 4 Work Disability Support Work Induction Resource Kit
The 2009 revised edition of the kit has been updated to include:
• A review of all content in the kit, particularly relevant disability and related legislation, planning and Person-Centred Approaches
• Information about Active Support
• Alignment with the new national competencies for disability work from CHCO8
• Change to format to move activities into a separate workbook.
What does the Ready4work Disability Support Work Induction Resource Kit comprise?
• Workbook (for the inductee/learner)
• Supervisor's Guide (for the induction supervisor)
• Learning Activities
• DVD (learning resource with interviews with stakeholders)
• CD-Rom (includes the first three components)
One free kit has been distributed to each Community Service Organisation (CSO) that receives funding from the Disability Services Division of the Victorian Department of Human Services (DHS). The kit was posted to the CEO of each eligible organisation on Thursday 9th April 2009.
