Assistance for children with autism to recognise emotions

Thomas and Friends Help Identify Emotions

To help autistic children recognise emotions the Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) website now has an interactive Thomas the Tank Engine "Emotions Game".  Thomas and Friends provide clear facial expressions.  Players must try to recognise which engine has the sad face, or which is the happy engine, the frightened engine, and so on.  And they can play over and over again, each time with a different sequence of emotions, exploiting the typical single-mindedness of autistic people to help overcome their difficulties.  Follow the link http://www.autismspectrum.org.au on the website.
