Help prevent job loss after spinal cord injury

Help prevent job loss after spinal cord injury

La Trobe University and AQA Victoria are conducting a research study on preventable job loss following return to work after a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI).

The overall purpose of the study is to identify the factors associated with job loss in order to develop rehabilitation services or interventions that could have a positive impact on unnecessary job loss.

We are interested in the opinion of people living with spinal cord injury about potential new vocational rehabilitation services which have been suggested as useful in better supporting people who return to work post injury.

If you are interested in giving your opinion about the usefulness of the various proposed new services, there is an on-line survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/EmploymentRetentionAfterSpinalCordInjury

Participants in the survey can elect to enter a draw for one of two ipod nanos (8GB), the draw for which will be conducted in February 2012 at the offices of AQA Victoria.

AQA Victoria will not be informed as to whether you choose to participate and your access to services and supports at AQA Victoria will not be affected by your participation.

Please see attached for further details.
