field is offering a Trainer Scholarship

Purpose of the Scholarship

At field we promote and model a culture of learning for people with disability, the disability services workforce and the community to create a more inclusive society. We also believe that an inclusive community includes people with disabilities taking up diverse roles, embracing those of leadership, ‘teachers’, and colleagues.

field recognises the importance of people with disabilities being part of the community learning and development landscape, whether that be in disability workforce development  or the broader community. We recognise that opportunities for people with disabilities to take up these roles have been limited and field is committed to re-dressing  this.

Currently field delivers a Professional Development Programme, amongst our other activities, to increase the capability of workforces and individuals. This offers some opportunity for people with disabilities to gain skills and experience in a learning and development environment.

All field training is developed and delivered by experienced and qualified trainers. It is our ambition to include people with disabilities on our training team. A vital step toward this is our support of people with disabilities with an interest, passion and aptitude for training in gaining the appropriate qualifications AND experience to take up trainer roles. To help achieve this field is offering a Trainer Scholarship.
