DARU 2011 Training Calendar
DARU will once again be offering workshops during 2011. As in past years this offers Disability Advocates an opportunity to step back, reflect on work practices, network and be challenged.
All sessions are provided by highly qualified, experienced facilitators and consultants with a good understanding of the disability advocacy sector.
The 2011 training sessions include:
- Workshop 1: Navigating through the Legal System
- Workshop 2: To Stand Beside
- Workshop 3: Cross Cultural Awareness and Communication
- Workshop 4: Resilience In the Workplace
- Workshop 5 Doing I.T. Better
DARU workshops are fully accessible. Transport, attendant care, interpreting services, accommodation and additional support can be provided for organisations and individuals who would otherwise not be able to attend.
