CERES gardening course for people with a disability - Commencing 26th October 2011
CERES is a multi award-winning Community Environment Park located in East Brunswick, with over 400,000 visitors per year. CERES, with funding support from Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE), is offering a number of short courses that are aimed at connecting with the environment through sustainable gardening and cooking, as well as providing practical working skills and knowledge for both the horticulture or hospitality industry.
Do you know someone who would benefit from some time outdoors, learning basic, life-enhancing skills and engaging with others in a small group setting?
As our last course was booked out, CERES are commencing another eight week Gardening for All Abilities course on Wednesday 26th October from 10am - 2pm. This program is designed for people with disabilities, with instruction from an expert trainer in a safe learning environment. The course is hands-on and all materials are supplied. CERES is an ACE provider and receives funding assistance from ACFE to subsidise these courses. Participants need to be over 18 years and not currently attending school.
Please see attached flyer. For further information and bookings, please call Luisa Brown on 9389 0124. CERES are happy to invoice providers directly.
We would appreciate you forwarding this information on to your networks.
