Accessible Railways - Australian Rail Authority's Code of Practice Consultation
Add to Australian Federation of Disability Organisations comments or lodge your own by 26th April 2010
Could you please send this email to as many organisations as possible to alert people with disabilities to the Australian Rail Authority's Code of Practice consultations? The consultation period will extend from 15th March until 26th April 2010.
I have attached my comments about the issues that I see as the most important for people with disabilities to have input into.
I realise the size of the document and its contents are daunting but if people look at the specific issues that I have raised it will help with people's responses.
If people wish to send me their responses, I am happy to incorporate those issues into an AFDO response. However if other organisations want to produce their own document, that would assist in arguing the case for people with disabilities.
Thank you, Margo Hodge.
